Ribbon Wirewound Power Resistors

Providing design engineers A high energy dissipated lower ohmic power resistor with high quality performance. Tokenchiina designed DQ series in both Ribbon Wire and Ayrton Perry type non-inductive winding formats, these rugged resistors can handle 30W to 20000W Watts of power. Specify our wirewound design for very low resistance and high power capacity. The DQ wave-ribbon winding design allows for efficient heat dissipation at higher temperature ranges so the resistor is half the physical size of an equivalent rated round wire resistor. When higher resistance with lower power capacity is required use our DR Series Round Wire design. This DQ construction consists of heavy resistance alloy ribbon wire is crimped and edgewound around ceramic insulators supported by a metal mounting bar. The bar is slotted on each end to facilitate installation. Terminal bands are spot welded after installation on the core and resistance-alloy wire is precisely wound onto the core. Standard lug terminals available with or without terminal hardware. Single and double quick connect terminals can be specified. Coating is available in a vitreous enamel, cement, or silicone. Tokenchina's DQ series is suitable for Overhead Cranes, Lift Trucks, Arc and Spot Welders, Industrial Controls, Processing Equipment, Elevators, Machine Tools, Battery Chargers, Conveyors, UPS Systems. Industry standard size allows for easy drop-in replacement of other brands including Milwaukee, Ohmite and Post Glover. Non-Inductance:
